Concept of the event: ​

The heritage of the idea of the "Neo-Classical City" is present all over the Brussels-Capital Region and it invites us to look anew at the city. Architecture, town-planning and, more generally, the way we designed and design urban life, from the eighteenth to the twenty-first centuries, have created magnificent buildings and districts and valuable analytical tools. By bringing together members of the public to take back control of this "Neo-Classical City" that surrounds us (through guided tours of districts and the interiors of buildings and more activities in French), this three-day event will include (re)discoveries of heritage buildings and debates on current and future urban challenges.
