FR NL EN Former workshops of the Colpaert Master-glassmaker

Designed and built in 1930 by the architect A. Deboodt for the master-glazier Florent-Prosper Colpaert, this single-storey building has well-organised, spacious and light-filled interior spaces. To the rear is a huge studio, with echoes of the master-glazier's work, often in collaboration with painters such as Anto Carte or Albert Servaes. Today the building is occupied by De Smet & Whalley, an architecture practice. The entrance-hall has a beautiful stained-glass window.
