On 24 & 25 October, the focus will be on the “upper city”: the districts between Avenue Louise and the Rue de la Loi, as well as some buildings around Forest park.
In the streets around the Ixelles ponds, Art Nouveau and Art Deco buildings rub shoulders in a delightful harmony. From the ponds, it’s only a short stroll to the Cinquantenaire Park and the beautiful Cauchie house, the pretty house in the Rue Nouvelle and the studio of a master-glazier.
The district also includes some monumental buildings such as the former Overseas Bank.
Finally, don’t forget to make a short detour to Forest park, near which two charming Art Nouveau buildings can be visited.
