In 1930, the Prévoyance Sociale Co-operative Insurance Company asked the architects Fernand and Maxime Brunfaut to extend and modernise its offices, originally designed by Richard Pringiers and completed in 1911. The Brunfauts re-designed the customer enquiry offices on two levels and added offices and a meeting room, all decorated in the latest Art Deco style. Today the building is occupied by the CEGES, (Study & Documentation Centre for the Second World War and Contemporary Societies).
