A stone's throw from the bustle of the boulevards and the Rue Neuve, this recently-restored hotel is situated in a quiet sidestreet. One of its rooms still has its original Art Deco decorations, as does its magnificent brasserie, a magical place that invites us to pause for a while. It was in 1930 that the architect Léon J.J. Govaerts converted an 1874 Eclectic-style building into a hotel and bar in the purest Art Deco style. The bar has retained most of the furniture Govaerts designed for it, including banquettes, flower-holders, wood-panelling, light-fittings and bar counter... it's a place where you can soak up the atmosphere of yesteryear!
