Michel Polak, who designed some of the most prestigious Art Deco buildings in Brussels, including the Résidence Palace, the Villa Empain and the Plaza Hotel, was commissioned to design this building in 1935. Today it is occupied by the M-Brussels Village business centre and by the Francophone Community Commission. The building retains not only its very-high-quality interior spaces, but also many very fine original details. The visit includes one of the observation towers originally used to study electrical interference.
