Designed by Henri Jacobs and opened in 1907, this former primary school is laid out around a central indoor playground. Adolphe Crespin designed and executed the sgraffiti panels which decorate the playground walls, and his designs include groups of animals representing the five continents. Child-friendly events and an exhibition on how sgraffiti are made will take place all weekend, organised by the G.E.R.P.M.-S.C. (Study & Research Group for Cultural Sgraffiti Wall-Paintings). The exhibition will include examples of recently restored sgraffiti in Brussels. Each afternoon, sgraffiti artists will demonstrate their skills and will invite visitors to have a go at creating their own sgraffiti.
