Designed by the architects L. E. Govaerts and A. Van Vaerenbergh and built in 1928, the Van Buuren's house from the outside is typical of the Amsterdam School style, while the interior is a unique Art Deco treasure, where furniture, carpets, stained-glass windows, sculptures and paintings by great artists chosen by the couple are still in their places. A guided tour of the house interior is included in the passport. The gardens can be visited for an extra ¬ 2.50.
